Game 6

The TCBL World Series shifted back to MEMPHIS for an enigmatic game 6.  VINCE FARINA hit a two-run homer and BRYAN JOHNSON followed that up with a towering shot to left-field to give Memphis a 3-0 lead in the bottom of the second.  FARINA was masterful on the mound, pitching a complete game one hitter, and striking out 14 (A TCBL World Series record).  SASKATOON threatened in the top of the fourth inning when they had runners on first and second but FARINA got a big strikeout of DENNIS KOMASSA.  Things again got interesting in the top of the 5th, in SASKATOON's last chance to extend the series.  There were two runners on and KOMASSA hit a blast deep into centerfield.  On almost any night this would have been a three-run homer, but on this particular day the wind knocked it down and JOHNSON mad a running catch at the wall and the celebration began.
